New indoor training facility

It just may be that the training conditions at Lennoxtown are contributing to the serious injury problems we are experiencing.

Being so close to the Campsies it’s being said the pitches are usually very dry and hard.....there could be something in this

Used to be great in the early days 70-80s you could watch the team train at barrowfield through the fence ,and even bump into the players running along the street going to it

Claim to fame i nearly run over joe millar at the lights

Donati tells a good story on open goal about the Milan team watching us training at Barrowfield before Lennoxtown was built.Milan players writing us off when they seen the state of our training pitch?beat them 2-1

Scottish football is played during the Scottish winter. It never snows in Wellington (We are 41S -think Madrid or Naples 41N) but I remember taking nappies off a clothes line that were frozen like boards and snow that lay deep and even. Anything that allows training in winter is welcome and a great investment. We would be the only club in Scotland to have such facilities. It would increase the gap between us and our neighbours still more. Bring it on.
