Sir Minty is STILL protected by the Scottish media from ANY blame in the demise of Rangers , while the poor sap who 'duped' Murray , Craig Whyte , gets blamed for everything bar the JFK assassination .
However , Everyone -Anyone with half a brain ( not you Alex Rae ! ) can see that one man and one man ALONE is responsible for the death of Rangers Football Club .
One man got his cronies at the banks to saddle the club with loans that were unsustainable ; one man brought in players and managers on salaries which were just ridiculous in the Scottish game ; one man thought it clever to cheat the Taxman using EBT's and continued using them long after it was obvious that they were illegal ; one man sold the club for £1 after declaring for years that he would only pass the custody of Rangers to someone who would 'build' on his handiwork !
Arise , Sir Minty ! Forever tainted by his hubristic line '' For every fiver Celtic put down I will put down a tenner! ''
What he didn't say was that the tenner was borrowed !!!
Fergus , on the other hand , did everything he said - a man of his word !
So the honest man , who creates a long lasting profitable business which supports the State through its taxes is ignored by the State , but a proven shyster , who fiddled taxes , who cost the State millions in tax evasion is feted and knighted .
But whose reputation and legacy is more cherished ?
