Prayers For Donegal

So we often chat about football and other irrelevancies, but tonight can we just come together and give strength and prayers to those poor, poor folk in Donegal.

A wee lassie and others have been lost tonight for nothing other than being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

There's been a bit of to and fro recently on the 'blasphemy' thread, but if ever God was needed - then tonight may be the night.

Terrible tragedy in Creeslough, unimaginable suffering for so many families. There will need to be an urgent review of planning and safety legislation regards filling stations; particularly in regard to homes being so close to potential danger.

Been to Burtonport and Dungloe mostly but the people of all of Donegal are the friendliest, and most kindest in the world. My thoughts and prayers are with the people of Cresslough.

I saw today that Celtic donated to the victims families

These are the people who died as a result of what Gardaí are describing as a "tragic accident". They have said it will take time to determine the cause of the terrible explosion but a gas leak seems to be the most likely .

It comes on the same day as the funeral of Celtic supporter Martin McGill who died in the explosion.
