We didn’t show enough guile against a team set up to defend deep with numbers behind the ball.
Far too pedestrian at times with little flair and imagination.
I despair at the number of times we play the ball either slightly behind the player or at his feet with little pace on the ball.....when the ball should be played in front of the player allowing the player to have forward momentum.....rather than having to take a touch before moving forward.
As for corners and free kicks? Wasteful and lacking imagination.
