SFA back Ajax in UEFA charge

I have to admit that when it came to light that SFA had backed Ajax in their charge by UEFA ré 'FENIAN BASTARD' insults by their banner toting fans I was livid but not in the least surprised

Their rationale that because certain members of the Celtic support refer to themselves as FENIANS makes it acceptable for opposition supporters to display banners saying 'FENIAN BASTARDS' defies belief
As the governing body of Scottish Football and administrators and regulators of our game one would have expected at least a little defence of one of their member team's supporters being attacked on the European stage especially while representing the nation

The whole episode demonstrates what Celtic and their fans have known for decades The SFA hold us in total disdain consider us as a tiresome necessity and will take any opportunity possible to undermine our club the board and supporters

Many of the SFA higher echelon members and office bearers will hold the same opinions and mindset of the Ajax thug supporters in the same way as they do their HUN counterparts

WTF? Missed this Bill, been away for few days. What is this about?

UEFA brought charges against Ajax when their supporters displayed a banner during a Europa League match between Ajax and Celtic referring to Celtic fans as FENIAN BASTARDS

Ajax contacted the SFA and our governing body advised Ajax that as some Celtic supporters refer to themselves as FENIANS this could not be regarded as a racial sectarian or political form of abuse
Ajax used this information in their defence to the charge by UEFA

Nothing which that mob at Hampden does in relation to adversity against Celtic surprises me in the slightest

Some people of colour refer to themselves with the N word but you can be sure if anyone produced a banner with that word on it at a football match they wouldn't just be fined they'd be straight in jail so where's the difference? ?

I actually thought of mentioning exactly this point in my initial post but felt that it may be found offensive not only by people of colour but by many other decent right minded human beings SFA members apart of course

From Adam Miller a few days back.

"If I wear a Rangers top, point at a Celtic fan and call him a 'F****n b*****d', I'm a bigot.

If I wear a Celtic top and tweet 'Proud to be a f****n', I'm not bigoted. I'm reclaiming a loaded word that's been weaponised against me and people of my background for generations.

I'm genuinely sorry to the sensible people who had to read that incredibly patronising explanation. It's mind-boggling that some people still need that broken down."

Corrupted UEFA saved Ajax granting them 3 fake penalties against PAOK
It's clear that UEFA is corrupted to the bone
Ajax is one of the most dirty teams

I tried to word it sensitivity and hopefully succeded as causing offence over this is the last thing I want.

The SFA SPFL are also needing to answer why it takes a UEFA delegate to take action over the bigoted bile that flows whenever the huns get together. Are there not SFA SPFL delegates at domestic games? Is fan conduct at domestic games not under the same UEFA rules and guidelines? Of course they are but they choose not to listen.

Many in the SFA went on to work for UeFa

Didn't know this but not in the least bit surprised. Tells you everything you need to know about the SFA. They should've been disbanded in 2012 after the revelations of their involvement in the Rangers scandal came to light, got to wonder why we and others allowed this disgraced organisation to keep it's grip on power.

Totally agree it's utter nonsense.
Balanced nonsense though. Refuse to acknowledge either as an even handed approach and have to do nothing to address the issue.
Sums up the SFA.

You've hit the nail on the head
Whether nonsense is balanced or one sided at the end of the day it's still NONSENSE and our national sport governing body really shouldn't be dealing in nonsense
If they do is it any wonder that the rest of the footballing world treat us as inferior which they most certainly do

As the supposed Powerhouse of our game how can letting other nations think that insulting Clubs under their jurisdiction is acceptable?

Imagine a say Lithuanian basketball team were taking on the LA Lakers in an international competition and their fans held up a despicable racist banner using the 'N' word. Would the NBA say "it's ok, sure some of those guys refer to themselves by that word".
If opposition fans held up banners referring to 'Jew Bastards' at a game against an Israeli team or indeed Tottenham; would their respective FAs aid and abet the club responsible?
