Football tourism. The reason teams like united and arsenal's matches have to real atmosphere. Full of "fans" on holiday catching a game of football. Guy probably doesn't even care what team he supporting....probably cheering the Leeds goal.

And this is exactly what the "elite" clubs and media want. The same big clubs playing each other multiple times a year to tourist fans that are just happy to be there (they will each spend over £100 in the club shop rather than a few quid by the season ticket holders). They have taken a snapshot of who happens to be considered big at this moment in time and want it to be frozen forever more.
