Also very articulate ,so much so that you would have expected him to be very much in demand from the Scottish sport media ,but Tom has a serious character flaw ,he speaks the truth and that just won't do for any of the media gigs up here.
When you think of all the no marks that struggle to even put a coherent sentence together who have (dis)graced our screens and airwaves ,for Tom Boyd to have never been given a job in the media here is one of the most damning indictments of the peepil running these shows

He was, and also when MoN's team won the treble in o'Neil's first season up here. I guess because his first 5-6 seasons with us were during the oldco's dodgy-financed league dominance then it was less successful for us for a lot of the time he was with us.

On the 18th August Tom Boyd stated the obvious and his comments on Celtic TV were reported to the Compliance Officer who apparently said would be investigated. That was 35 days ago. Perhaps it will just fade away and they hope that we will forget. They must have realised that this is a case that would have ramifications for the integrity of Scottish football and they do not want to go near any inspection of that.
