Following on from another thread, thought this would deserve a new one.

In light of what we have watched this year, let’s say hypothetically a few of our own decided to get together and try to push the issue with the Club and SFA

if we could ask any question of the Club in relation to their thoughts/correspondence with SFA/Referees Association, what would that question be ?

What questions would we like the SFA/Referees Association to answer

Lastly, if this was to become a project and we wanted the weight of numbers and some form of consensus what suggestion would there be for who to get involved

Q. In lieu of the overwhelming physical and statistical evidence available, that clearly demonstrates an overwhelming and irrefutable bias in favour of Therangers, what meaningful and decisive action does the Celtic Board intend to take to address the legitimate concerns of Celtic Stakeholders, to protect the financial interests of Stakeholders and the integrity of the game.
It is further requested that should the SFA not have provided satisfactory written responses with acceptable supportive evidence provided to the Celtic Board to alleviate previous legitimate concerns made, then it is the position of Celtic Stakeholders that this matter is escalated with immediate effect to UEFA for their forensic analysis and investigation.

The Celtic Trust? Official Celtic Supporter groups, the collective Celtic media, Celtic by numbers, Celtic shareholders (I'm in) Approaches to those who fought the previous good fight with the old Board. Fergus McCann for his insight?
Any legitimate interested parties by way of getting our message out there and seeing who is willing to help...

Simple VAR rules for goals & pens

1) If foul on opponent in the build up NO GOAL

2) the ref calls it no Penalty its NO PENATLY

3) If the Ref misses it & VAR mibbie Pen, Ref reviews & makes decision without any VAR input

4) IF IT'S A CELTIC PLAYER, GIVE THE DECISIONS AGAINST HIM. NO SURRENDER WATP

I think the Green Brigade or any fans showing a large banner at every game until the end of the season, will be a good starting point. At least it will get seen by everyone around the world who is watching the game. The banner could be worded in a way so it asks UEFA to look at what's going on with refs and VAR in Scotland.
Not saying UEFA would take any notice, but others will.

I'm of the view the MIB are in breach of the Refereeing Code of Ethics and there is abundant physical and statistical evidence to support this view. Where are you Celtic?

It's time to escalate our legitimate concerns to UEFA as the game in Scotland is being refereed to the benefit of one team and the evidence is there to prove it.

Referee Code of Ethics: Upholding Fair Play and Sportsmanship in Soccer Officiating

Referees are the custodians of fair play and sportsmanship in soccer, responsible for ensuring that the game is played with integrity and in accordance with the rules. To achieve this, they adhere to a strict code of ethics. In this article, we will explore the significance of the referee code of ethics in soccer officiating, and how it plays a crucial role in promoting fair play and sportsmanship on the field.

The Role of the Referee in Soccer Officiating
Soccer referees play an essential role in overseeing the game and ensuring that it is played fairly and with integrity. They are entrusted with making impartial decisions, enforcing the rules, and upholding the principles of fair play and sportsmanship. To fulfil this role effectively, referees adhere to a code of ethics that serves as a guiding framework for their actions on the field.

The Significance of the Referee Code of Ethics
The referee code of ethics is not a mere set of guidelines; it is the moral compass that ensures that the game of soccer remains a fair and honourable competition. Here's why it holds such significance:

1. Impartiality: The code of ethics emphasizes impartiality. Referees must remain neutral and free from bias, ensuring that all teams and players are treated equally.
2. Fairness: The code underscores the importance of fairness. Referees are expected to enforce the rules consistently and make decisions that are just and equitable.
3. Sportsmanship: Upholding the principles of sportsmanship is a cornerstone of the code of ethics. Referees promote respect among players, encourage fair play, and discourage unsporting behaviour.
4. Safety: The code of ethics also places a premium on player safety. Referees are responsible for preventing dangerous play and ensuring that the game is played without unnecessary risks.
5. Integrity: Upholding the integrity of the game is a fundamental ethical duty. Referees are expected to maintain the highest standards of honesty and integrity.
6. Education: The code of ethics also highlights the importance of ongoing education and professional development for referees. It encourages referees to stay updated with rule changes and officiating best practices.

Adherence to the Code of Ethics in Action
To better understand the practical application of the referee code of ethics, let's look at how these principles are upheld during a soccer match:

1. Impartiality: Referees must make decisions without any preconceived bias. This means that they don't favour one team over another and treat all players and coaches with respect.
2. Fairness: Referees are responsible for enforcing the rules consistently throughout the match. This ensures that all players have an equal opportunity to succeed, regardless of the team they represent.
3. Sportsmanship: Referees promote sportsmanship by encouraging players to play within the spirit of the game. They address dissent, unsporting conduct, and time-wasting, and reward displays of sportsmanship.
4. Safety: Ensuring player safety is a top priority. Referees have the authority to penalize dangerous play, such as reckless tackles, to protect players from harm.
5. Integrity: Upholding the integrity of the game is paramount. Referees must make decisions honestly, and they should never compromise their principles for personal gain or external pressures.

Conclusion:
The referee code of ethics is the bedrock of fair play and sportsmanship in soccer officiating. It embodies the principles of impartiality, fairness, sportsmanship, safety, and integrity that are essential for the game's integrity. By adhering to this code, referees play a pivotal role in ensuring that soccer remains a fair, honourable, and enjoyable sport for players, coaches, and fans. Upholding these ethical standards not only contributes to the success of individual matches but also fosters a deeper appreciation for the beautiful game of soccer itself.

I assume the one they sign in the lodge is worded different 🤔🤔

Turkey has arranged foreign referees to view VAR to avoid bias.
The bias in Scotland is far worse.
VAR can easily be reviewed by foreign refs
I think your spot on here Doc.....this should be the starting point for VAR in our country if anything was to be pushed for to change this would be a realistic start.

Three guesses who has a say in the referees and var assistants in turkey??
Shuggie Dallas….seen an interview way him saying through his Eufa job they help train up refs…and that refs don’t do the var!!that’s professional var assistants??

I hope it happens in the spl then eufa and fifa will realise its a banana Republic when it comes to Scottish football governance and refereeing and maybe the green shoots of decent fair and level playing football in Scotland can grow unhindered with world football keeping genuine eye on any new governance that's put in place, we don't want any advantages just equality for everyone even a club that's only 12 years old .
