Ever a shinning light , if as the captain says we had went in at the end of the english window we had a great chanceCannot see this happening for a number of reasons, even if they let him join his wages are too much for Pedro the Penny Pincher.
Another highly rated player for the future ,it's what you build a team onAnother project defender from City

Got to the point I don't pay any attention to these 'one for the future' signings anymore. We have signed a shitload of these players over the years and with exception of Kris Ajer none of them has made any impact whatsoever on our starting 11. They're a deadline day damp squib, they do nothing to improve the fortunes of the team in the here and now and have all the hallmarks of a cheap way for Lawell and the board to appear to be doing 'transfer business'!
I'm not exactly blown away by the possibility of signing Taylor either, let's be honest the boy didn't register on anybody's radar before we were linked with him and he plays in the same league ffs, but at least he'll go straight into the squad and be in contention for a starting slot right away. Not righting the boy off or anything like that, if he signs he'll have my full support, I'm just not excited by this signing.
What I'd love to see is a striker signed, a big target man to get on the end of all those crosses and corners that go begging, we could add another 20 goals a season at least if we managed to get someone on the end of them.

Would have Meiling before TaylorI always hope for the best with these type of signings, but I don’t class them as signings for the team. He will be lucky to get a start until the end of the season, unless the lad us brilliant. I hope he is. But, the facts don’t lie, as yet none of the previous have made any impact.
No chance of a striker, but big Bayo I think will do a turn. Taylor wouldn’t have been anybody’s first choice. Melling for me was well within our grasp. I have heard Taylor is good. At last we seem to be getting a defence. That’s the most urgent.
