Transfer Round-up (merged)

Elyanoussi and Bauer remind me of some of Martin O'Neill's successful signings. Players who had a very good reputation when they were younger but never quite fulfilled there potential. MOM gave Sutton, Hartson & Thompson were all given another chance at Celtic and became legends.

Of course, we've had some similar signings that didn't work out, but let's be positive and hope for the best as we welcome to the mighty Hoops.

Well said BB. Once the bhoys sign on the dotted line then we've got to give them our full support regardless of what's went on before or what we may think of their signing. They are now Celtic players and if we want them to be a success then they have to know we will give them a fair crack.

Right, here is our tactic for next summer's transfer window. Lawwell only ever seems to really get his finger out in the last evening of the window. Therefore next year we'll sneak into his office and flip his Spice Girls calendar over to the 31st August when it is really just the 31st July.

That way we'll trick him into rush buying all these players we need early on so we get the benefit of them for most of the qualifiers and at the start of our domestic season.

Maybe we should be kept in darkened rooms during next season's transfer window and that way we won't have to go through the rollercoaster ride like we do every bloody year.
