Coronavirus

Highest bidder win's, a French plane in China had they're PPE unloaded when the U.S stepped in with a late bid (France 24),stand by for more,oh and why can't we manufacture our own? if formula 1 teams can make respirators, surely tae phuq we can do the same with ppe 🍺 🥳

This is shaping up to be a worse situation than the great Depression of the 1920's and yet some people still think that life will be fairly normal soon. Football and sport in general might be stopped for a very long time. Clubs will be unable to pay April wages and bills and will go under in just two weeks. May bills and June bills are unthinkable. Scotland will not have 42 clubs whenever/if ever football returns. Wages will be slashed. Transfer fees will be a memory. Reconstruction is a waste of time like rearranging deckchairs on the Titanic.

We had 5 cases of Covid today in NZ and there is hope that we could be COVID free within three weeks. The whole country is in isolation and every arrival needs obligatory quarantine for two weeks. With some creative thinking GLOBAL sport could perhaps be played in New Zealand and televised worldwide.

Nobody knows how this virus is going to go
Now scientists who are trying to combat this virus, are saying the next wave, could hit as soon as regulations are relaxed, and the second wave, will be more devastating than the first
Until they start to get a true handle on this pandemic, they need to carry on with this self isolation, and social distancing programme
The 1% are only concerned with how the stock markets are doing, and their portfolios, while humanity is suffering, all around them
Look at the politicians saying Governors should open the cities up, and the sheep, who are just cannon fodder for them, buy into it
The rednecks are already shouting about a civil war is coming
Best of luck to everyone
Stay safe
YNWA

This from this past weekend
19 dead and counting, after a lone gunman went on a shooting rampage, in Nova Scotia
My friend lives in Truro NS, and posted the following, to her social media account:
"All around Nova Scotia tonight, we lit candles to honour those we have lost. Moments before the sunset was so beautiful as though it also lit the sky in tribute. We will never forget."

Agree F,! For to long up here we have minuscule teams in the lower divisions ,with crowds of 200/4/500 being treated as professional? Know don’t get me wrong ,not knocking persay! But it must be about time we re assessed the whole situation, these clubs have a legitimate say in the running of the sport up here, cannot be right ?football will die ,up here a near certainty, normality in life will no longer be the ‘norm’ feel we are in for serious times ,and how many of us will see it through?not just health ,but financially also ,hope to god we do ,just have to keep the faith, 🤞hh
