We don't agree on much but I do concur on that. Lennon's strategy, if we can call it that, has been found wanting on too many key occasions.
But the annually inexplicable CL fuckup followed by major player(s) sales does make me wonder. Is there more to be gained for grubby executives from the murky world of player sales than the audited world of CL monies?
How else can the last 3 summers be reasonably explained.
Unless it's a glorious sacrifice to limit the coefficient and deny the huns a chance at a second place. That being said I doubt the presence of a hair shirt in the Lawwell wardrobe.
