Close season so its time for a transfer thread......

Nothing will be confirmed until Eddy deal is signed and sealed. Only then will the expected 2 be announced. Money in first, then money out
So if the Eddy deal falls through, we are not only stuck with him when he clearly does not want to be here (and would be lucky to get a fraction of this fee in January) but we also don't buy 2 much needed players despite us offloading a lot of players and finishing the transfer window with a profit?

I understand business management and cost control practices, but that is not what is needed by the manager, not what is wanted by the fans (but we are obviously of the lowest concern) and not what was strongly implied at the start of the summer. That would be an extremely crap close to the transfer window as we would be in a much poorer position.

The board at Celtic continuously over promise and under deliver

He's down at Crystal Palace having his medical right now according to Sky Sports mate.

He clearly wants to leave and we need every player committed to the cause so best for all concerned if he goes today, he's a shadow of the player he was 2 years ago and if we can get £18/20m for him then that gives us a fair wedge to get a few more in the door before the deadline.

I'd imagine the monies received from last season's sales would have helped to offset loses ? No?
I would think that the money from Frimpong and Elhamed deals in January, Klimala in April and Hendry in June would all go to minimise the losses in the year end accounts which take in the period up to June. Ajer, Bayo and Shved monies will have covered the signings so far and we are awaiting the confirmed deals of Edouard and Christie before announcing any other signings.
