That's caused the level of concern on the situation Docco, well it has for me and believe clarity should be made from the board to put the issue to bed.
Last thing anyone wants is a return of fences and demos regarding the board which still seems fairly unsettled still within the support.

Again, reading too much into things...

Maybe I am Docco.
The term used by the board "team player" says to me that the board aren't happy with Dom and doing things the way he is.
I find that very strange considering the great work done in the transfer market and with such a profit also.
Like I've said, I'm hoping there isn't to much into it all, especially if it is to have any impact upon the team in any way whatsoever.
Still don't trust the board, though they had redeemed themselves, now this as a total surprise.
Looks like I'll have to remain confused on the whole issue for a while yet

I just checked and Dom Mackay has removed all mention of being CEO from his timeline in LinkedIn. There would be no real reason for rushing in and doing this if this was purely a family matter.

I'm not sure Strachan is CEo material....as I said when Lawwell was gone, " for every Peter lawwell..there are 50 more like him in the wings"
Ceo's are just that...they do their job in the constraints of a plc...players and management win us things ultimately...I think folk get far too hung up on executives

What a disappointment to lose Dom McKay after only 72 days.
I had started to believe this guy was a fans man somebody we could trust and more so somebody Ange could trust.
I hope Dom McKay and his family find whatever it is they are looking for,one thing is for sure no matter where he ends up it will not be as poisonous as the snake pit he has just left,a part of me cannot stop thinking the biggest snake of them all Lawwell has had a hand in this,his track record show,s he has had a hand in everything bad at Celtic since he arrived especially season 2021..
The new acting CEO is a Lawwell appointment,Ange would do well to watch his back..

Good points S2 the board have begun dialogue with the fans direct and to go back on that could cause a lot of unforseen problems. We deserve to know a little more

What concerns me Winter is that that dialogue between the Celtic hierarchy and the support began anew through McKay himself and sadly going by tonight's statement it seems to have ended with his departure. I mean they don't even attempt to give a reasonable explanation as to why he's left other than 'personal reasons' which is so vague and open to interpretation it could cover almost anything...(which is exactly the point imo)!

What we deserve is the truth! Why, after less than 3 months in the job, has the new CEO resigned?

If it's due to health reasons related to either Dom or a family member then we as a support would fully understand why he chose to resign and wouldn't need any further details beyond that, if it's something else then show us a modicum of respect and give us some detail otherwise suspicion and speculation takes over and for their own sake they'd be wise to avoid that!

Understand what you are saying Docco,but we need to remember what our ex CEO is capable of,if anybody could be held responsible for the total destruction of 10 iar I have no doubt it was this egotistical basket of a man who still thinks he know,s better than everybody else..
