There’s a fragility about the team that Ive no seen since before the BR years, even from a position of strength, a single event or mistake just seems to knock the whole thing off kilter..u can see the confidence ebb away quickly..as if the inevitability of it all overwhelms them.

Folks, we're playing away from home in Europe with reduced squad depth. We're not winning the EL so the greatest potential benefit from a game like this is player development. Betis' scouts will have identified weaknesses in our defence which they were able to exploit. Now we will see if we have the necessary coaching quality to identify those same weaknesses and fix them.
