Johnston is a complete luxury. I wouldn't have him on the pitch unless winning at least 3 - 0.

I can't say I am a fan of his. He is talked about as being fast but he rarely seems to get past anyone, rarely gets to the byeline, frequently gets bundled off the ball too easily and never scores. I keep hoping that he will light up a match but it hasn't happened yet.

Leverkusen are obviously much better than anything we face at home but I feel that our midfield just doesn't have the engine to keep up.

I think it’s maybe a little harsh. They went up a gear as they chased the game - that’s what clubs like this have in the locker. The subs we put on didn’t get up to that pace to keep them at bay and in the end our midfield and defence ran out of steam.
Just irritates me when people say players aren’t good enough when they are coming up against a really good team.

Can’t complain too much given time and money Ange can and will turn this Team with his type of addition’s into a Champions League outfit. That’s a good side we played
That Wirst was superb as was Diaby

Unlucky Turnbull. Just about got a late deserved equaliser. I feel we never saw enough from him for most of the match though.

I bet Ange would love to have Frimpong in our side.

Harte made one of the best saves I've seen. We need to tighten up at the back and I'd really like a Wamyama type player in our midfield - the January transfer is important not just for this season but to get players in (and out) and settled BEFORE we start next season's European campaign.
