Another beautiful day at the beach, or Arctic Tundra as it's known right now
Another 'cool' day and more snow on it's way overnight, it's supposed to warm up to -6 on Friday, with snow on Ne'erday...about 5-10 cm

Labs have such sweet natures too. This along with their loyalty and willingness to be trained to please their owners is why the vast majority of Guide Dogs are Labrador/Retriever crosses (they apparently have different characters and this is the perfect mix).

As you know, it is very rarely bad dogs but shitty owners that cause problems.

Agreed, lovely natured dogs
I have done some work in the past, with an assistance dog group
My mate had a red pitbull, the sweetest most gentle dog ever, as you say, it's the owners at fault
Believe it or not, before Beau came to us, people who knew him, said he had tried to attack them and other dogs
It was because he was walked every day and had loads of attention, then his previous owners got ill and weren't able to do the things he needed
When he came to us, he seemed to realise, that he was in a better environment and he was given the run of the house, and as much love and affection as he could handle
He bonded with us right away and him and Liliana became fast friends
Anyway, here's tpo all the dugs in our lives, and the cats too
We could learn a lot from animals, and how to get along with each other

With the impending arctic front and subsequent blizzard on the way, decided to take Georgia for a walk in town then stopped off at her favourite park on the way home
Everything was going splendidly until two ducks flew overhead, towards the frozen pond
As Georgia is always on alert, she took this as a sign that they wanted to play chase...so off we went at full speed...across the Arctic tundra towards the aforementioned ice covered body of water
Now, IF only I had been wearing Jack & Victor's favourite Winter footwear, (Perma Grip soles...19.99 oota Timpsons...) I would have been in good shape, but with the snow, ice and my old work boots on my feet...it was touch and go, whether we would end up on the ice, then plunging through to the refreshing, nay...exhilarating, water below
I managed to halt our progress with about 2-3 feet to go...Phew !!!
