Transfer Rumours

MJ is playing like a player that’s spent the best part of 3 years injured and lacking in confidence.
I remember well a fit and firing MJ would be considered almost unplayable at times. If he gets himself going then Martin Boyle couldn’t lace his boots.
the boys only 23 and clearly been struggling through injuries.
If anyone thinks ange has been picking him for then first team and will then let him go in loan then ….
He clearly has the managers confidence, maybe the boo bhoys should get off his back and support one of our own in a Celtic jersey.
But it seems to me if your Scottish you don’t get get them patience foreign players get ala mcgregor Forrest ralston
Fair point about being injured for years

I agree that he is struggling through injury and lack of confidence, but also because of his decision making and lack of vision of what is going on around him. Mikey is blessed with fantastic talent but sadly it a long long time since he was unplayable.

I haven't given up on him yet and hope he can fulfil his potential and personally think a loan to a team like Hibs might help him to improve through getting more gametime.

I agree about the boo boys not helping him. It is one thing that concerns me sbout our support that there always seems to be 2 or 3 players at any time that our fans give an overly hard time to. Forrest has often been a target and I remember CalMac getting a hard time about 6 months after he returned from loan and his form faded after his initial hot-streak. Of course we all show our frustrations and should not ignore repeated mistakes but players are always better if they are supported rather than constantly criticised. But if they are playing poorly then this has to be addressed by the coaching team.

Precisely.

My uncle, God rest him, always said that if social media was around in the 60s and Jinky could have heard what some fans thought of him some weeks, he'd have been hiding under his bed long before Lisbon.

Spot on BB
It doesn’t help either that he got his chance when we’ve effectively been playing without a striker
The best wingers need someone on the end of stuff and we’ve not had that this year. He has been poor by his standards though
