Was there anyone actually upset with the signing of Ange? I don't remember reading or hearing one bad word against him by our fans....as soon as you heard him speak you knew he was special.....that is ofcourse unless you're a Scottish hun sports reporter...how many of those fucking arseholes had him written off before a ball was kicked??? All of them. From the wankers who mocked his name to the cunts saying we had gone for the cheap option. Where are you now. Its all gone quiet 🙄🙄
 
Imagine waking up a sevco supporter this morning (sick in mouth at the thought) knowing that what you just witnessed was an injury hit, 70% up to speed, Celtic team absolutely destroy your beloved scumbags. Knowing that the next time the sides meet, Celtic will be fitter, stronger and have more quality players at their disposal 😬😬😬 I can smell their fear all the way in London!!!
 
In truth Lubo, none of us had a Scooby about Ange. I think it's true to say there was much scratching of heads. The board were, quite rightly, getting it tight for the debacle of indecision in the Eddie Howe saga. if we're being honest, we were a support suffering from a kind of trauma.
It may also be true to say there was a degree of apathy concerned when Ange arrived. But, whatever the reason we ended up with Ange, whether by design or good fortune, it has ended spectacularly well.
Hands up from me, I never for a second believed any one man could make the the number of changes need at our club in such a short time, and be successful. How very glad I am to be wrong.
I'm still not getting carried away, but my feeling has gone from hoping we can win the title to believing we can win it. That in itself is testament to our gaffer. HH

I'll hold my hands up and admit guilty as charged lubos (yet would plead not guilty in a court of law still 😂)
At the time remember, there was a huge cry for JK to be removed from his position within the club, yet funny how that they haven't raised there voices this season now?
Sometimes and especially within football you have to be very careful for what we wish for, and can admit when you are totally wrong in your opinion, as no one can see into the future as such.
At the time, I believed that the appointment of Ange was a dangerous and backwards step and stand by that, today I can admit I was talking utter shite at the same time also 😂

I think most of us were just bewildered at what happened with the Howe fiasco. Also, as the vast majority of us had never even heard of him there was no real opinion about him. There were grumblings about us going for the cheap option and there being a City Group/Man City/Lawwell Junior link which meant many folks thought we had just gone for a cheap option.

But again, most fans said to give him a chance and we'd support him. You are right that very few were upset just disappointed at yet another shambolic build-up to his appointment. Once we heard him speak then that was something else we started to fall in love with his outlook and philosophy. Then when we saw the quality of the players he was bringing in, plus the improvements he made in several players that were previously written off then this cemented our view of the guy.

We have not won the league yet and unlike most I suspect there might be a couple more humps in the road but I still expect us to come out champions.

I also hoped that if he was sticking with our coaching staff that he would improve them and possibly set up a succession plan so that when he finally moved on that our coaches would just step up and continue our success that I hope Ange delivers. I know this doesn't happen too often in football clubs these days but that is what happens in many businesses in the real world.

At the start it only took one interview and you were impressed but could he back up what he was talking....

when were going into games v leverkusen/betis, 'we'll have a go', you were kinda thinking FFS
but he has a way about him, we play our football and we'll give anyone a game, no more of this being beaten before crossing a line.
we won't go down with a whimper or play negative tactics

the man is made for our club, our heritage and his ethos fit like a g-love

his teams are entertaining and theres always drama, even games against your lower end scottish teams, your glued to the TV.

I'm nailing my predictions down now, the treble is within reach and next year when we're in the Champions League we will hand out a few bloody noses, home and away

we will only get better every window as we are signing proper footballers

I was thinking last night too, he came with nobody and adopted laptop and Kennedy, they are part of his team but i thought about recruitment too, we know the players he has signed off his own back but the others

Starfelt, JJ, GG, Abada, o'riley, scales, shaw, jota, CCV

These are clearly players that the Club has been tracking and to the credit of the big man, he's made the call to buy them on the evidence. So there is clearly a functioning recruitment department at the Club that deserves enourmous credit too. After the worst summer signing splurge last year, we've had our best season signing players that i can remember
