Transfer Rumours

This deal for Jules isn't making any sense to me whatsoever at present.
How can a deal fall apart on personal terms when it was only a loan deal to begin with?
More likely something showed up in the medical that wasn't liked imo.
Jules wants to start realising that he has to prove himself after such an injury, before he thinks he can still demand big wages.
Also, where does that leave us now?
Doesn't seem to be part of Ange's plans, yet we were meant to have activated the extra year on his current contract?
Have we potentially scored an own goal and being stuck with another player who don't want to be here, yet sitting on huge wages and standing to get nothing now for the next 2 years now, than another sulking player sitting in the stands and getting paid a small fortune to do so also?
I'm hearing they wouldn't let him wear gloves 🧤

We had jules, boli, McCarthy, barkas & Ajeti all taking up a massive chunk of the wage budget. Only managed to offload one.

Jota, CCV and the new LB have dusted our usual budget.
It's CL money now we are spending.
We probably have 100k+ wages tied up in the 4 still here.

Pity we would be lucky to get 6M combined if anyone was to come in for them.

We still need a starting CB and DM. Wouldn't mind a big AM that could play CF.
3 players away from being the dugs baws.
Exactly what I am thinking....that would be the full compliment that we need to really become a force to be reckoned with again. Would have loved to see Itakura CB Souza DM and Jordan Larsson being the AM/third striker. All top class imo
Unlikely we will get any of the 3 but these positions need recruited in this window not January if we are gonna cope on all fronts.

I assume he will be worth in excess of £70 million as soon as he enters ibrokes
According to the Scotsman Celtic are devastated that he chose the unmentionables over the champions and Ange is so distraught he's going to throw himself off the Kingston bridge🤣,
I thought I was the greatest thing since sliced bread as a 15 year Old player (strangely I wasn't) remember the Boys name when he's 16 he's going to move down south after wasting a year of his life at imbrokes

Its a wierd one hes been training for months so even if they found something its only a loan with an option to buy so why not see if he holds up and if he breaks down semd him back all very strange

Still think, with a good pre season McCarthy can come good for us

McCarthy still has a role to play within the squad imo.
Could well be used to see games out and not having to overuse our more attack minded midfielder players.
Couldn't see him starting games unless a diddy team in a cup match, and hardly a player to use if chasing or looking for a winner in a game nowadays

shalka are cost cutting so i'd guess it was money or maybe he was told he would have to fight for his place
