Ross County v Celtic, Saturday 6th August 2022 at 3pm BST

On another note, a different note but keeping in check with how that clubs decisions and actions are not portrayed in any way on a par with us.
Who saw the headlines that theRangers have stopped charging the £25 grand for media access?
Nah me either, it went completely under the radar.
This was an outrageous decision to begin with and one that even sevco fans werent for.
I have a pal who's on the toilet noise ( not his fault poor soul he inherited it), he was telling me that unlike the Celtic noise they were unable to get or see any photos from matchday or anything like the ' unique goalscoring angle' that is provided by Celtic star to the noise.
This was due to the toilet noise's media partner refusing to pay the £25,000 for the right to do so. As well they should , charging fan media of all media platforms that amount of cash is ludicrous.
Yet the fools at bbc and newspapers still paid their £25k for something like 5 interviews with the manager, 1 reporter and 1 photographer , lesser deals at £10,000.
Well the genourous " pish guzzling heathens " ( love that line ( Credits : Sandman)), that run the club have now decided that it's time to stop that and everyones welcome again, cos they made money from an unseen title and run in Europe along with a few sales, money that's likely left the coffers as quickly as it entered.
Big news for those reporters who no longer have to pay to do their work.
So why is this not headline news?

Simple answer winter is they don't want to rock the boat now they can get back into that shit hole and enforce the anti celtic agenda even more so.

We can't control how the huns act, we can't control how the media act, we can control how we act.
As long as even a few of our fans act like them then we'll be seen as part of the problem, just as bad as them.
It's almost like a jealousy thing with some of our fans, if the huns get away with these sort of chants so should we. Is it really that enjoyable to mock a recently dead person? Is it life affirming? I don't really see the appeal personally.
I agree way that past few years it's like competition between ours and they'res I wish with having the 2 fan groups at opposite corners at parkhead they would be better bouncing off each other bring back c'mon u bhoys in green the full stadium sung that but past couple of home games I've been to there's too much ooh ah up the ra singing and they sing it for ages aswell as if to make the point they don't give a fuck they're tying to be ULTRAS but especially at home games I would love our fan groups to come to an agreement that celtic songs only because we want the kids joining in as for away fans as I've said earlier if ur at Ibrox and they're doing wit they do I'm not gonny slag fellow fans for biting now singing the Walter song ill call it at County there's no excuse but I'm still not calling them scumbags and the like but I hope it don't happen again because as others have said we are better than that but we have all been young men at the fitbaw singing songs we shudnt have just EVERYBODY remember that before steaming in with thr name calling them allsorts

Certainly wont be name calling any of ours as I was well into my late teens before I decided that I wouldn't be singing about the IRA but beforehand I had just been immersed in the energy and atmosphere at the time. Same thing I suspect with todays youth.
We get it in the neck always as it is from all quarters so I won't take part in joining those quarters, never .
Regardless of my personal opinions.
The IRA may well be considered as a terrorist organisation on UK mainland by many but those many should also remember that it was under the UK government the peace treaty was reached, a treaty that ultimately saw the IRA as freedom fighters or theyd never have been released.
Can't have it both ways.
This is just a snippet of my personal opinions and I wont be drawn into a convo about them.
Though feel free to shoot me down

Winter, I believe that peace agreements were only really reached after the 9/11.
The British government could hardly kiss America arse with the war on terror declared by them, while such a long ongoing battle remained within their own back yard.
Of course funding for the ra stood to be affected by American money, but will forever more claim that the war was won by the ra even if not totally over the line as such, so until every Loyalists bastards are off our soil nothing is concluded as such, but still well on the way to doing so imo.
Still holds nothing to how regards celtic should be supported or looked upon imo.

I don't think any of us escape the Klan culture no matter where we live or what our personal circumstances are as the self proclaimed peepul are everywhere in our society whether that be in the work place in our neighbourhoods or displaying their hatred for us marching on our streets or at football grounds.
We all loved that display of celebration from our supporters both visually and in song with Grace and YNWA last week...which I am pretty sure made us all feel so proud of our great club and support.
My own grandmother was brought up in the falls Road in Belfast so I like many sang the rebs back in the day as I thought I had that connection so it would be hypocritical to criticise any supporter who does so today.
However i much prefer to hear our songs of celebration and love for our club as we have much to celebrate.
The death of others is personal to their families whatever their deceased wrong doings or beliefs so I simply would respectfully not get involved in derogatory comments on that particular subject.
Maybe our full stadium could start singing more throughout the game to change the tide and focus more on Celtic songs and show the young team what a good atmosphere we can generate together. It might encourage our away support if we can get more Celtic songs back into the psyche.

Exactly mate we were all young and as celtic fans I'm sure we all had many so called IRAOKES 😁 would be good if the gb and bhoys got together mate and made the a atmosphere better cause its pretty shite at home anyway there's no many songs all the fans can join in with grace at flag day was amazing c'mon u bhoys in green bring that back properly the way it used to be get the kids singing aswell now there's not many away fans they don't even register

Taylor again!!! What a game. Jota gets credit for cutting the ball back to abada but it's taylor that makes the goal. Tries to win the ball several times. He's the one chasing constantly. Closing down in the 91st minute after doing it all game. He wins the ball back with big Gio and we go on and score a cracker. Taylor is quickly become my favourite player in a hoops tops. In matches like yesterday, where Angeball isn't quite clicking, it's good to know we have a Brown/Tierney type player that isn't going to stop from the 1st to the 90th minute. The guy is all over the park throughout the game.
And our Greenock Bhoy gets pelters from some quarters ;-)
Proud of the wee man , always brings a great attitude, and gets tore in whole game
Well done the Greenock

Ross County announced today that Connor Randall broke his leg on Sunday during a 'challenge' on Jota. If he went in hard enough to break his own leg we can only be thankful he came off the worst. This has made me do a rethink on the whole religion thing and I'm now convinced there is a heaven and George Michael is in it and I'll be praying to him to intercede on behalf of Jota's safety before every Celtic game from now on.

I read it as well 26+ and it instantly reminded me of Jordan Jones and his wild swipe / hatchet job on Moritz Bauer , that went wrong and he ended up out for months and never to be seen again at ipox.
Earned himself a move 3 year contract with Wigan that saw him loaned to st Mirren.
Guess where he is now?
Kilmarnock on loan still from Wigan and he will require watching the bassa if he plays against us.

Seen that I thought county were a team who tried to play fitbaw since the racist took over so was shocked to see some of the assaults on our guys I don't like to see any player break legs or ligaments obviously but if he's broke his leg trying to leave one on Jota then fuck him wee prick the fuckin refs need to act on these challenges man they're knee high and not even a yellow 🤬🤬

I hear you and understand your point - I just don't think we should behave like they do - if we do it becomes like UK politics - a race to the bottom. I care about our dignity and self respect - what they say and do would be recognised by ordinary Joe public as out of order more if there was no potential for whataboutery.
Agree with you to a point I work with fans of Different clubs they all say the same thing we’re both as bad as each other and it doesn’t matter to them who starts it.
So like Lubo has said until our Board start the fight back by calling out the press and the rest of the Media then any efforts by our fans. Will not amount to a hill o beans.
But our Board will do an Orange Walk if it means saving the OF brand.
Yes we can do better as fans acting like them isn’t the way to go.
But in the first game of the season the one with the Great Tifo the Aberdeen fans pretty much sang about Paedo’s for 90 minutes.
Never saw or heard a thing from the same twa faced Medja. So yes we can come on here and preach about Standards but it’s not always easy to stand and listen to constant abuse without hitting back and I doubt very much that if you face this or any abuse ( I get it daily from our glorious Edinburgh public) that you don’t hit back.
2 wrongs always ends in a fight.
It’s Human nature. None of us are perfect
But to me this should be aimed at the Celtic Football Club BOARD it’s there job to defend and protect our club. It’s a duty of Care thing.
As Our friend Imatim is always saying don’t buy or give the Scoattish Medja a thing
Mon the Hoops

Thinking its already heading towards what the songbook will consist of this Sunday by both sets of supporters at killie, and even more obvious about how its going to be reported upon also imo

I don't think all of the media are two faced and some even have a leaning towards the Celtic approach but speaking to one recently who I think is a shareholder who says the current bile singing from some of our away support makes it really hard to call out the racism etc from the other side. So how can our board call out the media when we appear to be just as bad to them. The journalist even suggested to me that currently they are singing more football based songs than we are. That could be true - we have great Celtic songs but they are not heard as much as they were before - going to Celtic the musical next month and that will be a relief.
What the board needs to do is what Fergus did and get our own house in order.

See that's a cop-out admittedly there's been a renewed singing of ira songs but that's no excuse for not highlighting racism the only way our young mob stop the signing is if there's a proper drive to stamp it out on all sides imo these so called journos just don't want to rock the boat so will sook hun boaby theyre full career thankfully the rags are dying out and it will all be online and wen they dont get the hits they will die online also to leave fan media to rise from the ashes of the soup takers and do it fuckin properly

Except they will likely get the hits if it's the same pro sevco , anti Celtic articles that are uploaded there will be the same appetite for it as there is in print.
