Tierney not fit ( culpable for their goal ) , Rogic not fit . Didn't want Hayes on at start but halftime he should have replaced Tierney . Burke should have come on later in the game - his pace would have brought us some reward .

Agree but that is obvious only in hindsight, as KT was superb fist half.
I'd guess the simple smart plan backfired with some bad luck / doubt.
Plan being Hayes was on to nullify them.
If so then assume KT was only going to play 60 and Hayes fall back for Sincy. Lenny likely doubted the plan at half time because we looked then like smashing them for 3 or 4! doubted because of Hayes on a yellow.

Keep saying it, but that pitch is not good! and it cost us fans MILLIONS thanks to rodgers and the crowd who layed it, several injuries when ever players are stretching more than suggests the surface does not have enough give.

League is everything, treble is "nice to have"....last year's one papered over a lot of cracks.

It’s where the money is , and that’s the MOST important in the next few years , more so with the MIB and the corrupt cabal at Hampden going all out to stop us , I really don’t know what the prize money is for the Scottish Cup or the League Cup , but the gate receipts are split more “ evenly “

Overall , with League championship and CL group stage monies , domestic cups are in my opinion an irrelevance , an inconvenience best avoided . Sorry if I m being negative .. after today .. HH bhoys and Ghirls

Watching the Morelos elbow and Kent's punch again I noticed Ajer was the first player to charge in both times to make sure there were no afters and to bring it to the attention of the officials. He never shirks anything and protects his team-mates. I like him as a player, even though he is still learning, but also love his controlled fighting spirit. We need more like him for these types of brutal battles.

I love Lenny as much as anyone , but I think his selection today emphasised that his heart is ruling his head .. we need a more detached approach . Leave that kind of thinking for the Whordes at Ipox
