Celtic Shorts

Celtic in the 1970s images to show you this evening. These haven't been seen before, just gathering dust as slides in Tom Grant's loft. Last summer I met up with Tom in a pub in Cardowan and he gave me three large bags of prints and slides that he'd had since his days as a Celtic Director. Tom took many of the stadium pics himself but these match day ones were probably for the Celtic View but got lost in the fog, stuck in a bag and not looked at for decades. Having digitalised around 800 images this wee section are the only match day pics.

These are brilliant David. I'm so glad Tom passed them onto you so you could scan them for future posterity. Keep them coming. 💚

Heard back from Niall this evening. I've published a few of his articles on the 1990s on Celtic Shorts to coax him back in, and told him folk on here were asking about him. Here's a little of his response...
Great news on Celtic Shorts being up and running, now I've been published on two sites :) Best of luck with it I'm sure you have big plans for it and no bother on using any of my old stuff. I'll try and add some new stuff too, about time I started again. I'll need to get back posting on the Noise too, been off that for yonks.
Doing pretty well here. Had a real good run from late December to middle of last week then a bit of a flare up again just to remind me but I've recovered quite quickly this time so that's been a positive to take. Two steps forward, one step back, bit like Celtic's season in fact!
Hope you are doing well and good vibes being sent to Lewis from Shropshire!

BTW...Niall is referring to Lubo98 who was 26 last week and is currently in hospital with acute pneumonia!

That sounds promising for Niall. Hopefully he continues to improve.

Not so good about Lubo though. Wishing him well in his recovery. HH

Good to hear from Niall ....was one of the first to welcome me on here. All the best to young Lubos98 I hope they both make a full recovery.
