To the younger posters that come on the noise, respect to all of you, you are the future of our club and I've no doubt you will do the hoops proud, I'm sure your uncles and Father's have already told you, but it's true, and I have tears in my eyes already, Tommy Burns to the older fans is like Kieran Tierney on steroids, one of the most special people who ever wore the hoops and I miss him like hell

Ben, what a heartfelt post. Whilst his name remains on the lips he is never truly gone pal.
It's hard to think of any Celt M, that recognised the fans were the lifeblood of the club, a true Celtic Legend and a man who I never tire of telling the young troops in my family, especially my son, that I saw TB play in the hoops, and that means I was honoured.Ben, what a heartfelt post. Tam burns was a”star”my absolute hero as a player then as a got older a man,,remember my twins were born in the rottenrow and one of tams kids at the same time,a was oot grafting during the day so my missus didn’t have visits for the afternoon,so when he was up to see his wife and kid he would go over and chat way my missus for a while,,total and absolute gent..

A always remember the way strachan was so upset when he passed away,,he had got into wee strachans head and turned him into one of us!!never seen him show emotion like that before..
