Sometimes forget how relatively young Big Jock was when he tragically passed, but like Boab's tribute that opens this thread - he packed a helluva lot into a short period of time.
Where would Celtic be without Jock Stein?
There is that old adage about how one-man does not make a team, but I sincerely believe that Jock Stein proves the exception to that rule. He was the glue that bound the whole thing together and without this force of nature, it is arguable that Celtic could have went another 10-years without a title.
No 9-in-a-row. No Lisbon. No European Cup.
