The fact that he can also play a bit shouldn't go unnoticed either. Celtic's Mr. Versatile who does a decent job in any position he's been asked to play.
It would have been easy for Nir to run down his contract and pick up a nice juicy signing-on fee elsewhere. It goes to show the calibre of the young man that he wants to remain a part of Our Club and to be part of our future.
Good Luck, big fella - a well-deserved Christmas bonus for us and a happy hannukha to Nir.

He's been superb this season when hes played ,my motm when we beat the monkeys 2-0,kept his concentration that day!Good to have on the park when we're under pressure ,keeps calm and that spreads through our team.

Good. Lovely football player with an eye for a killer pass. Able to step in as central defender but not natural enough to be trusted there without covering experience beside him. Best suited to our SPL games v bus-parkers where he can step into midfield beside Broon and turn defence into attack/add some extra creative guile.

Nir gets it. He could have perhaps earned more money and / or had the chance to start more regularly at lesser clubs but he chose glory over potentially better-paid mediocrity. A fine example for our young players.
