Where's Londonderry? Never heard of it!
Apologies, don't know how that slipped in. Made some edits.

The sectarian element is difficult to prove. Remember when Neil Lennon was assaulted at Tynecastle? By the sounds of it the only thing hinting at that motivation that might hold weight was one of the gang saying something about 'laying him out on a union jack shroud' or something along those lines. Don't think it was the one that hit him though. Still they might not have been able to convict on that, but its stupid to be saying that's how they are treating it.Not sectarian! Maybe he didn’t like how he was eating his chips or his haircut. Maybe it was his trainers that drove him into a violent rage. He was attacked on sight! No argument, no history or backstory. How can the filth even say that with a straight face . Institutional sectarianism, nothing else can explain it

It would be a lovely gesture by the club to get himself and his family over (expenses paid) for a stadium tour and then hospitality during a EL game once he’s fully recovered
You’ve hit the nail on the head. They’re running a policy of ‘nothing to see here’ ‘move along, please’ ‘there’s no discrimination against Irish or those of Irish descent in this country’. The facts don’t support it, though. They have a serious problem and they need to deal with it, even if it means confronting boys in their own lodgeThe speed with which the polis announce there is no sectarian/ football related reason for such attacks suggests a political agenda for downplaying the extent of the problem in Scotland. The BBC failing to report it would suggest that they are also compelled to keep quiet on such things.
