Celtic ticket exchange scheme

I need to double check but I’m sure clubs that do it get 50 percent of the money but also the 50 percent the fan gets it needs to be spent at club shop or goes towards your season ticket the following season so club makes a fortune with it anyway mate
I was wrong I checked our rivals website …….either way tho club would make more cash and also the fans that can’t attend would benefit

Help us to reach full capacity at SHITBROX by not letting your seat go empty on a matchday.

For whatever reason, you may be unable to attend a match, Seatsub can help!

Simply visit the SeatSub section of the Rangers ticketing website and follow the instructions. When using SeatSub, you’ll get 75% credit back to spend on club products including, match tickets, MyGers, Soccer Academies, match programmes and gift vouchers.

Season Ticket Holders can continue to accumulate their credit during the season to redeem against a Season Ticket renewal for 24/25.

MyGers members will also receive five points when listing their seats on SeatSub up to 24 hours before a home match.

Here in basel its much easier - the club have set it up so that they don’t need to get involved. The season ticket is on your phone and every game has a separate QR code. If i get someones ticket, they just send a screenshot for the game in question. I can pay them using Twint which is an app that matches phone numbers to bank accounts. Don’t know if that’s a thing in Scotland?? Anyway that will never happen at Celtic as the board won’t screw more money out of fans. Doesn’t fit in with the police state constant surveillance vibe in the uk either.

Boy a work with is a Man Utd fan with a season ticket and that sounds a bit similar to Man Utd …either way the club has to do something similar especially when all the big clubs including hearts do it

Got ticket for Celtic st johnstone I can’t make it (story of my life) anyone who wants it then send me private message (ticket is free all I needed is it sent back on a recorded delivery)good seat but maybe not the best if you have mobility issues….profile pic is my seat

Good on you Tommy... Just to say anyone with mobility issues can get an elevator pass from Celtic, contact the supporters liaison officer and he will put you in touch with the right people...

I had to do that a few seasons ago and its a lifesaver for me now...

The club should be friendly to the fans. The fans are what make Celtic great. Many season ticket holder love attending Celtic park so buy a ticket. They cannot attend every match so the seat often sits empty. When there is a 'sellout' and empty seats and people who want to attend we need to offer a system to onsell that ticket to ensure a genuine sellout. This is a win/win scenario where the ST holder gets paid, the club gets a kickback payment and the team gets supported. It's so obvious and that's why it is used by so many clubs. Celtic need to implement a system . Why are the board so slow in making a decision.

A lack of true leadership mate,,,and forward thinking..story of Celtic football club im afraid 🤷‍♂️

Sorry as I’ve mentioned this loads of times but this is a copy and paste from Leeds United website ☘️
Help us to reduce the number of empty seats on match day!

Are you a General Admission Season Ticket Holder and can't get to a home game? Don’t let your seat go empty, return your seat for resale via the Ticket Exchange and receive *100% of the cost of your ticket back.

The LUFC Ticket exchange will allow all General Admission Season Ticket Holders the opportunity to sell their seats back to the club, on a match-by-match basis, if they are unable to attend any home league games.

Not only will this dramatically increase the number of tickets available to My Leeds Members, it will also ensure that the stadium will be as full as possible for each home fixture, but you will also receive *100% of the cost of your ticket back in exchange.
Celtic don’t even need to give Celtic fans 100% back they can take a cut and give foundation a cut too so it would be a win win situation for everyone
Games are sell outs but every game you see loads of spare seats
Celtic have been very quiet about this subject so can’t see it happening and it’s terrible from the club
forget all the big clubs but if hearts and Leeds can do it then Celtic can but they probably don’t want to spend any cash getting system in place

No need to apologise Tommy. This is a subject that has been brought up for years on here and David has championed on the Celtic Star website for as long. I have yet to hear 1 single negative argument against it. The fans benefit, the club benefit, the players will benefit, the concession stands benefit, the club shop benefits, the surrounding businesses benefit and it looks better on TV so this improves us selling the brand. There are ready made models out there can just be repackaged up for our club so it does not take a lot of effort to introduce this to Paradise.

It is astonishing that the board simply blackball this initiative. Is it simply pure business management? Snubbing the fans because our board do not want to give in to them even though the club gets a lot out of this? They simply don't care as they are alright Jack? Are they fighting a secret battle against fans that no one wants or even is aware is taking place? I genuinely cannot come up with a single logical reason for them to just continue to ignore this.

It’s crazy the club don’t do it mate for number of reasons and it would also look good to see stadium at full capacity every week (it’s a system I wouldn’t actually use unless I couldn’t get rid of my ticket on here or family using it) people struggle to get tickets for Celtic games and when you go to stadium you see few thousand spare seats every week (I honestly still think a lot only go to glasgow derby or Europe games) hopefully Celtic announce something soon but honestly can’t see it happening

Might be some movement on this @tommybhoy8881
I won’t use it mate it’s for other fans so stadium is full and it benefits fans who can’t get tickets …..your ma Bhoy when I have spare that won’t change mate 🍀🍀☘️

💚 good to see it could be an option for folks like yourself if it does come in though. Always empty seats at the games and would be great to have the stadium as full as possible. 🙌

still looks like no ticket exchange again for this season (hopefully I’m wrong tho)
we have that many people on waiting list that you can’t even join it now and the small amount of tickets on public sale will sell out every game and we will still see a couple of thousand of empty seats sometimes more that a couple
Celtic need to sort this out
I know some Celtic fans miss games with health and work etc so this is not a dig at them (I miss more games than most with work)
But any fan that’s buy season ticket and only using it for big games in Europe and against the Huns should get a warning from Celtic (shouldn’t be hard to find out as it’s all digital and they know who’s entering the stadium and who isn’t)
I know 1’boy I’m missing out the h in the Bhoy with him (when it was the champ league home games when it was the 3 match packet would sell one game at triple the price so he could get his 2 games for free) I understand it’s expensive but if can’t afford to go then don’t go but don’t rip off other fans on tickets that are already expensive
Feel most sorry for our fans travelling from outwith the west coast with the extra amount they need to spend on travel (the ones in Ireland spend a fortune on it with planes or boat) so it would be good for them if they could get some cash back for games that they can’t make game
Anyway Celtic park is just so much better when it’s a full capacity and get this scheme up and running will be our best way for that to happen
