Playing Turnbull and Rogic together in midfield has never worked. Playing two "luxury" attack-minded poor defensive players doesn't work in a 3 man midfield. We get overrun in midfield and our defence is too exposed. Tightening up can actually lead to more attacking as we win the ball back quicker.
It's alarming that goals against knock us for six. We seem to fold instead of rallying and getting at the opposition. Some of them need to grow to see if they can fill the jersey. Others are using up a lot of effort to carry the others.

Rodgers didn't adapt too well either , and with a far better team ! Some serious Euro humpings !

It's very easy to blame the defenders because they're the last men back, but the useless fuckers in front of them aren't pulling their weight. A forward only has to get it right once to get his goal, a defender has to get it right every time to stop a goal. Our midfield is stone fuckin useless.

Regardless the outcome we are seriously understrength and up against players who routinely play at a higher level against teams which field mostly footballers rather than thugs. Players are being played out of position and put under immense pressure but will learn from the experience. The weakness of our midfield is cruelly apparent and we need better options either from within or in January.

We looked so much better with calmac and the Emperor back ...unfortunately we stuck with Turnbull and Rogic.....that's the problem.
