Celtic v Hearts - Premiership, Sunday 25 August

Thought overall the team played well there was the usual misplaced passes and silly passages of play around our penalty box.Jullien looks nervous at times he gave them a throw in from a pass across the defence but he wasn't the only player to play it out of the park Ntcham did it as well some of the players today put in a lot of effort Ajer,Christie ,Bayo,Bolingoli others not as much effort

Had we signed the right back Kris Ajer in this window for £3-4m we’d be saying what a signing we’ve made. The bhoy is a colossus wherever we play him.
Good to see Bayo get a chance and even better that he took it. Another attacking option for a long hard season, would like to see him and Eddy as a pair up front.
Bolingoli getting better with each game, Julien now looking like a £7m centre back.
The consistency of high performance from McGregor and Forrest can’t be understated. Two products through the youth system who are now the heartbeat of the team.
Willie Collum, and his 2 assistants, were a disgrace. No surprise there.

RC long ball through to Bayo early first half was world class, unfortunately Bayo could not control it, too early for him or just not skilled that way? was thinking that Griff would have.
Not knocking Bayo as he looks a asset, just there is almost no such thing as a complete striker, unless you believe that someone like Henrik ever actually existed.

But RC this is some player, surely even better than a few of us could have imagined at the same time the more if not typical in the crowd including BR were keen for him to be sold or sent on loan.

RC turned Celtic around for BR, The man of the match almost every match and yesterday was carrying Broony who was really poor yesterday from the off, either unwell or could not handle the temp, or more likely 2 games in a week, a reality Lenny is either blind or plain foolish to be risking someone who he very recently declared 'vital and don't know what we'd do without him'.

Yet! no sign or even talk of a back up let alone a replacement for a 34 year old terrier, Broony deserves better than this, why the feck was ntcham subbed and Broony left on.
These sort of decisions should concern even when we are doing well, too late when it's shown up in a poor result.

Hopefully Lenny is keeping up his sleeve some defensive midfield dynamo we are about to sign.
We have a forward line that is ready for anyone anywhere, and a defence that is able enough, But! we have a midfield defensive line that amounts to the aging legend Broony, so the core is weak and will be exposed unless strengthened.
Calmac is too lightweight for that role and not naturally aggressive enough.
Ntcham plays when he wants and someone who has shown he just constantly can't help the Freudian body language revealing a snyde, should not be trusted in a team. SAY it out loud or shut the feck up.
Whispering gestures to a select few!! No boyata to take the pish at Celtic with anymore, he'll need to develop a new mocking bird.
Doubt Lenny will miss that as BR did or tolerated.

How would you feel about Nir Biton as DM?

How would you feel about Nir Biton as DM?

Don't really see him as a obvious terrier type, maybe a bit too too tall and not solid enough engine for the role, even Ajer at a young age jogs back blowing a bit after a surging run, where as the likes of Broony and Keane in their prime were already back in a defensive position, can run and tackle all day if needed.
Sadly Broony is getting on and not the player he once was, anymore than the best in the world are as they age, Lenny needs to act in a no win situation.

Bitton is more a elegant player but does seem committed so he's the obvious choice if no one is signed, and it seems things are all talk at the moment.
Has this new scout actually had his hand on any signing so far? think all were targets before he signed.

Thought Broony was poor on Sunday, slow and off the pace looked tired and hot and he was clumsy for the penalty and very unlike him made a few poor passes early on.
He's doing too much and Lenny seems to have no back up plan so far or more concerning a concept of a solid defensive midfield line, just has Forrest and RC tracking back better than BR tended to have them, that works against poor teams but it won't work at the fixed sevco hatefest games or against any genuine decent side in Europe playing fairly.

Think Ajer could go midfield and possibly him and Nir together could work.
I hope Lenny is bold at the hatefest as he must surely see the past 3 games they have run over us, Broony is not given a second.

If Elhamed is fit, I'd like to see Bitton or Ajer into midfield next to a Europa rested Broony.

On the day this new fraud king fixed game plan of no Celtic fans, has become a far right brit nationalist cesspit extreme and to be fair to any human being and 10 times more so for a Celtic player, a extremely difficult place to play the game and not be intimidated off your game.
None of MON teams faced this fix.

Lenny must know that he needs to change tactics somehow for this match or it is going to be a given 6 points for them.

If we get any kind of result its a win, but a Celtic win would be extremely destructive for them. So they have the pressure, but the past 3 we just played into their hands.
For the day if needed, line 5 across the midfield and earplugs handed out keep it simple, their defence is not good, we need to show that up and silence these zombies.
