When BR's star was bright and he was trusted with his revolution he apparently wanted his own man to head up recruitment. JP simply moved on for the standard 'New challenges'. I think he was still told he could stay but I can only assume that would have been awkward. He's kept his counsel to be fair, never gone public. Class.
