Danny Murphy was a decent player...15 years ago.
Danny Murphy is certainly not an influence in modern football circles.

Never mind that he didn't actually play 90 minutes of that particular friendly against a legends side of the long past. And certainly never mind that when he was young and fit and did those things daily , the very same club Murphy claims that he would run the show against , Celtic, He still couldn't do it, even in his prime in 2003 when the current Celtic manager then a player in that Celtic side rolled up in front of the kop in Liverpool and handed slippy his arse whilst they said goodbye to European football for another season. 2003 , think about that for a moment thats 16 years ago when Lennon Sutton Hartson Thompson and Larsson and co beat Liverpool 2-0 at anfield whilst slippy played in both legs. If he couldn't boss it 16 years ago whats changed Danny Murphy since then? Has lenny Sutton Thompson and Larsson all got older but not slippy ? Of course not hes actually improved as a player in the last 16 years. The funniest thing about this genuine arse licking is that Murphy believes his own nonsense. I wish slippy did too and actually played in this game , now that reallly would be entertaining. We are approaching the end of slippy Gs Scottish football romance and the hero worshippers are bricking it big time as inwardly at least they see the writing on the wall. Most are actually hoping that he gets his finger out of his bum and learns his badges so that he can return to engurland and manage a big club like Tranmere. It's not right the guy has to carry the expectations of half a country's domestic football hopes on his own shoulders, we're only a country when it comes to sport you know. He shouldn't even have to prove himself as worthy of holding these daft panini badges just so others can call him a coach. Just give him the engurland job now and preferably first against Sweden that way there's no need for a scapegoat, slippy hogs all the responsibility to himself anyway. And never mind that is actually part of a managers remit .So Listen Danny before you say something else useless, slippy couldn't boss it 16 years ago it's one reason why fergie said he never was a top top player. It's why top top players like Henrik came to town and stole the show and it's the reason why the only thing 'premier 'you'll ever get your hands on is lenny Henry's old room wether thats in Scotland, England or the USA, see the pattern Danny? You can't read that ? Are you dyslexic? Or is it a concentration span problem ?It's a problem whatever it is as you're the only one who can't read it. Though I suspect your problems lie deeper than being unable to read a post. Given your posts rarely even have anything to do with Celtic id hazard a guess that not many read past the first few lines of your peculiar to say the least 'posts'
