fouls committed to cards issued stats pish

could it be we get play broken up for non fouls more often than any other team?

the amount of freekicks given against us for nonsense is massive and maybe thatys why they arent yellows coz they arent even fouls

Opposition players have worked out any perceived contact and they go down like a sniper’s got them…..knowing full well the MIB will give them a free kick…..it’s happening every game…

Interesting that a couple of days after we go two clear at the top the narrative is still about how the refs have somehow conspired to put us there.

Robbie Neilson's post match moans have become standard practice at Celtic Park, no matter how we beat Hearts and it's all getting a bit tedious.

He needs to realise that the stats below are largely irrelevant without any sort of context:

- Celtic Concede 11 fouls/0 Yellow Cards
- Hearts Concede 12 fouls/7 yellow Cards

Not all fouls are equal! And fouls and yellow cards are not the same thing!

If he can come back out and tell us which of Hearts yellows weren't justified, and who from Celtic should have been booked then maybe we can discuss it as adults.

Otherwise we'll just get on with, and pretty sure that's the approach Ange will take too. Excuse culture is definitely not something he entertains!

Interesting that sevco have decided to appeal Lundstroms red but not the Fatmans has a deal been made? The card given to Lundstrum was it a yellow or a red looking at it from the look on his face his only intention was to stop the player at all cost he did not just clip his heels? It was a full blooded tackle to take the man out, if they win the appeal does this mean that this type of tackle has become part of the game what happens the next time a player does exactly the same thing? To me it was a red he knew what he was doing and expected to get away with it you could see from the players at the time and the many comments since from the media ect ect await the outcome with interest on past history well he will get away with it

No truer words were spoken. Why that's not more obvious to the mainstream sports media . . . oh, wait. Never mind.

Take a look at Hun irony and double standards.

Apparently Lowry, an up and coming Sevco player was the victim of a nasty tackle in a game last night.

A Hun had this to say about it.....in bold...

“That really is a horrific “tackle.

No attempt at the ball. Two footed through the air from behind.

Studs right down Lowry’s calf and achilles.

Not a red card in Scotland. The game is bust up here. The standard of so called refereeing and player technical ability up here is off the scale shite.”

Shades of Lundstrum anyone? They really don’t do irony, do they...

Same tackle by the sounds of it imatim imo.
The scum were always going to win there case especially when a hibs player made made a dangerous tackle in the 1st half that was only deemed as a yellow.
No consistency whatsoever within Scottish football as what's deemed as a dangerous tackle and what's not within Scottish football nowadays.
Look at any other football within the world and when the lung tackle is applied then in most cases the red will be produced.
The art of making such tackles nowadays requires the ball to be away from the player in possession that even the follow through with the speed of the tackle misses the player who was in possession.
Anything less automatically brings into question reckless, out of control, dangerous and even more so when the player making the tackle goes to ground to do so.
Don't believe the guidelines are that hard to understand these days, yet remains so hard to apply within Scottish football still?????

Lundstrum has had his red put down to a yellow Utter shite He knew what he was doing
Aye, but the unusual thing, is the compliance officer usually up grades hun yellow cards to red, no real penalty as the still keep 11 men on the field, only serving a suspension for the next game, last time 2 Huns got sent aff was the game of shame old firm at parkhead the Lennon and fat sally also hud a wee scuffle oan the side lines, think that was 2010 or 2011

Big difference is that they dropped 2 points, the looks on both hun players Wis priceless, like ”I’m a hun, I’m noo supposed tae be sent aff” 🤣🤣
