Maybe Celtic could make a decent size gesture in the fans name to the NHS as compensation for the season book money that is due.

I would prefer that to Celtic tv or shares for that matter. And as a good will gesture also allow fans that need to a chance to defer payment for next season for a couple of months.

The Rangers never agreed for null and void, it was their legends playing to the gallery under instruction to do do. Their bosses didn't seriously pursue this as it would have killed the game in Scotland with most clubs going under - them being the first!

As fas as the money, Celtic have effectively budgeted for and spent this already. What the support needs to do - when possible due to personal financial situations - is take alternatives from the club ie shares or Celtic TV for a season - and let the club go for 10IAR in as strong a position as possible. The club can't agree this themselves so it's going to be down to the fans to decide for themselves.

They play by a different set of rules. They can lie, cheat and bribe their way to whatever they want. Integrity is for the rest of us and they bang that drum as loudly as possible if they think something isn’t going their way. Before the outbreak they knew their season was all but over. Our lead in the league would have increased if it wasn’t for this pandemic braking out. There were even calls for slippy’s head in some quarters. Now they’re all “ aye, but they could have been caught, we had 27 points to play for, 2 old firms to play blah, blah, blah. The SFA are going to hand the title to THEM.”

Null and voiding leagues has never been an option. Any league who did so would spend years in the courts fighting media organisations, sponsors, supporters looking for a refund on a competition that never happened.
UEFA are caught between 2 stools. They themselves and the larger leagues who are totally dependant on the money from media deals and need to finish the leagues/euro competitions to keep the money rolling in. Playing behind closed doors doesn’t matter to them, as long as they provide a game for TV. Being the corrupt and greedy organisation they are, UEFA are currently backing this option and trying to enforce it.
There problem is the majority of countries don’t rely totally on TV money, it’s needed yes, but a reduction in it would be manageable in most cases. These countries need clarity now and need to call their leagues now for that clarity. Belgium know this and made yesterday’s announcement. In Scotland the ideal would be play the games when we can, however when that happens how many teams will we have left?
There needs to be leadership from UEFA, and the national associations, and a realisation that one solution won’t fit all. The solution is the one that saves the most teams within each individual league and unfortunately that’s calling the league as is for many of them.

If you null and void it then recompense to broadcasters and sponsors needs to happen for every club, And if the European competitions are the same then the money has to be returned, wonder what club that would impact on the most in Scotland?

Do Celtic have a share issue ongoing or would we have to buy off of someone who has shares to sell, which means no money towards the club
