I was also at that game, although knew nothing about the tragedy until we got back to my da's car.

Although it always struck me as rather odd that their was going to be a phone charger station on a memorial wall, can you imagine trying to lay flowers and some zoomer brushes by to charge his phone. ????

As the news came on, the announcer stated "Tragedy at a football ground today"
I thought "Hey, that's Ibrox..."
I was up out the door and ran the couple of miles to our house
Unknown to me, my mates had arrived at our house and asked my Mum, if I was home yet and had she not heard about the tragedy
When I ran in the door she collapsed to see I was ok, as they hadn't mentioned which end of the round the crush happened
Will never forget that terrible day and the Rangers & Celtic players and staff helping the victims
A young boy from Greenock was killed and the whole town felt the despair of his family and friends
Hopefully, something like that, will never happen again
