A Motherwell director has been charged by the Scottish FA for criticising referee Bobby Madden on Twitter during his side's Premiership defeat by Rangers.

Andrew Wilson described two penalty awards to Steven Gerrard's team in the 5-1 loss as "farcical" and "ludicrous".

He added Motherwell were denied two "clear" spot kicks, and said Madden was the "most dangerous player".

If he contests the charge, Wilson's principal hearing date is 29 October.

A potential sanction for the alleged breach will come in the form of a fine.

Motherwell declined to comment.

He'll fold and take the fine knowing if he dosen't then he will be landed with a bigger fine ,would love him to take it all the way and other directors of other clubs to stand up and call them out ,that way there managers are not sitting in the stands serving a 3 matchline ban and the focus is on change

The leader of a right wing organisation giving partial decisions and today’s referee is Adolf fae Germany Ross fae Scotland and making his first European appearance saddam fae Iraq scary .........

The fact that he thinks it's in any way appropriate is bad enough, the fact the SFA gets away with letting him dae it is fucking astounding but the fact he has missed key votes because of it is just taking the c*nt!

Here's another thing to think about where this wee bawbag is concerned, he leads the Scottish branch of a party that has in the last 2 weeks alone.....

Smashed the devolution settlements of Scotland, Wales and NI!
Banned the use of anti-capitalist and left leaning political books in English schools!
Reported their intention to opt out of parts of the Human Rights Act!
Passed a law that effectively legalises the British military to commit war crimes with impunity!
Passed a law that makes it legal for the state, intelligence services, police, undercover informants etc. to commit crimes including murder, torture, sexual violence!
