Say what you will about MLS in North America, but at least the officiating is decent and doesn't make the league look like a laughingstock in the eyes of the world. Pity the SPFL can't honestly say the same.

Vancouver Whitecaps, missed the playoffs today by losing 2-0 to Minnesota, but they play attacking football, and have some guys who could do a job in the SPFL or England
Years ago, they would bring in 'big names' to help promote the league, but there's some good homegrown talent, within the MLS
Alphonso 'Fonzie' David is playing CL football with Bayern Munich, and he doesn't weaken their team
Ryan Gauld (Formerly Dundee Utd) is a good wee player, he's an attacking midfielder, he played in Portugal and is on a 3 year contract
The standard of football, is comparable to the Scottish league, but the refereeing is not as biased, and they use VAR, although they fucked it up today when Brian White (Vancouver) was brought down in the box, but it wasn't given
Looking forward to watching Canada in the World Cup, they won't do much, but they will fight for the cause
