Sign the petition - force the SFA into action

I'll sign it but it won't make a blind bit of difference.

Best starting off with our own club over their acceptance of how the SFA have acted ... only when individual clubs feel the full fury of ALL our supporters will they act in self defence against those clowns at Hamdump.

It’s not one or the other. The clubs already have a voice within the SFA. Supporters - despite supposedly being the most important thing within football don’t. Fans should have a voice independent of their clubs position. I’m sure most Aberdeen fans would happily tell Milne where to go!

Update posted on the petition yesterday evening:
Really proud that fans of all clubs are getting behind this. I read all the comments. ‘Corrupt’, ‘incompetent’, ‘unfit’ and ‘embarrassing’ seemed to be common threads. Together we can make the SFA answerable to the clubs, fans and players rather than just themselves. Then we’ll truly have the kind of governing body we deserve. Thank you.

Today marked the official launch of the campaign and the creation of the Fans Without Scarves twitter page - @FansScarves. The launch of the twitter account within minutes generated the first retweet of the petition from none other than The Offshore Game subgroup of the Tax Justice Network, one of the very organisations shining a light on the SFA's misdeeds and being roundly ignored. At the time of writing we've just hit 1500 signatures despite only officially launching the campaign around lunchtime (although it was set up yesterday afternoon).

The SFA is well versed in ignoring and subverting pressure to change. This isn't going to be an easy route, but it is our belief at this time exasperation with the SFA has reached critical mass. Today saw news of high profile players, premier league clubs and managers all calling out the SFA. For us this is good news. The 3 main stakeholders in Scottish football are the fans, the clubs and the players/staff. All three deserve to be recognised as such by the SFA and to have the facility to hold the SFA to account when it underperforms in its role as regulator. We, as fans, will have to work together with the other two groups to effect meaningful change.

The SFA set its own strategic vision:
"THE SCOTTISH FA LEADS THE NATIONAL GAME WITH
INTEGRITY AND INNOVATION TO BREED A CULTURE OF
PERFORMANCE, UNITY AND TRUST."
It expects to achieve this by its 4 Strategic Pillars:
• Perform and Win
• Strong Quality Growth
• Better financial returns
• Respected and Trusted to Lead
We would argue that the SFA is categorically failing on all four accounts and has achieved the very opposite of unity and trust as a result. Fans are now voting with their feet and staying away from SFA tournaments and the national team. Its painful, but money seems the only language that resonates within the Hampden corridors.
Thank you everyone for your early support on the launch of this campaign. If we can build a voice for all fans so loud it cannot be ignored and sing in three part harmony with clubs and representative groups of players/staff then it will be impossible for the SFA to continue too completely ignore their stakeholders.
Update from yesterday. Over 3000 signatures as of lunchtime.
