Another test of the blood pressure against an in-form St Mirren in the cup. We know how they play, 5-3-2 with two big powerful strikers up front. Fortunately their best player in recent weeks, Kwon, is ineligible.
It'll be a struggle on current form and nothing suggests we will do anything differently to the last couple of games. We will have more missing defenders in AJ and Welsh so are back down to the bare bones in personnel. Taylor an outside chance of making it but more likely the following week v Killie. Oh and Yang back from Asia Cup so more options from the bench in forward areas.
BR should find a way to start both Idah and Kyogo and also get more from our collection of underperforming wingers. Unlikely.
Same old, same old with those left fit.

Haha, very good mate, Idah doesn’t get to take all the penalties. Job needs to be done in the 90 otherwise it’s difficult to see us progressing
 
Sunday should be the ideal type of game to bring in a youngster like Daniel Kelly to start alongside McGregor and O'Riley in the midfield, or Rocco Vata on one of the wings (cant be worse than the collection of non performers we have in that position) and give him the chance to prove he is worth a new contract and place in the team.
Obviously this won't happen, we don't give our own youth a chance preferring to sign younger players from elsewhere and give them the time to improve and develop.
 
The trouble with St Mirren is you never know how they will play well known as a Bogey team back in the day Celtic need to go for a victory to get back to winning ways and not relying on the odd pen a good win Sunday should set us up for winning run 2-0 too the Hoops
