Mctominey is still young at 26, and you can, well I can see he's improving with every game I see him play especially for Scotland, and he kept Casemiro out of that man utd team for fair chunk of the season, a player who's done and won it all, not bad for a young avTim , Scotsman eh?

Quite often because a certain person was on at that time a lot.

Sadly we lost our " faither of the noise," Michael Duffy "MD " the man our predictor tournament is named after.

I'd say he held this forum from falling apart more than once with a couple of well thought out words.

You'd have loved him TB everyone did you could log on and there he'd be ready to chew the fat on all things Celtic and anything else as well.

Yes a mate a seen the photo mate of the stone as I went and checked all the posts about him my first day or 2 on this forum I seen posts from everyone so he must have meant alot to people on here and I seen his sister posted a message too so this forum must have meant alot too him too...may he rest in peace ❤️🍀.....I'm back offshore next week so I will probably be posting things at 3am too 😂

I never had the pleasure and enjoyment of the much loved Michael Duffy
contributions to the noise.
However a lot of Noise contributors who I respect and agree (mostly) with on issues of Celtic in our hearts and minds of our culture and the great race of Celts
I can only add my support to the many positive post of a obvious much missed & loved the contributor to the Celtic Noise the late Michael Duffy HH

All that anger and disgust felt by super Ally and the Scottish media over the booing of GSTK must have left them exhausted and not paying attention. They seem to have completely missed the 90 minutes of racism, sectarianism and bile spewing from the away fans at St Johnstone at the weekend......I'm sure they would have called it out otherwise 😏😏
 
I posted on another thread how the ref allowed Deidco to ko while the Celtic players were celebrating in front of Jungle. Who was one of the Huns racing through on our goal to cheat us ( TSRTS posted a photo of this on same thread)…..you guessed it….Twas Fat Schwally himshelf, abshoulutely it was Fat Schwally. Here we go again Spain v Scotland and being Scottish I always have faith much like Celtic, often unfounded with Scotland but this time.
In truth I expect payback from Spain, but a draw not out of the question ( on the chase) .

Norway fail to beat Cyprus we're through, Norway fail to beat Spain in Oslo we're through, Norway must beat Cyprus Spain and Scotland, whilst 1 pt from the Georgia game will see Scotland qualify.

Clever that Scotland are playing England (1-3) then Spain , then France, then Cyprus I think might be wrong in order but super experience for the Scots, worst case scenario it goes to last matchday at Hampden Scotland v Norway and a draw would suit us 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Can you imagine two games left in the group and we’ve qualified!!!

Can you imagine Scotland require a point in Georgia to secure qualification?
That is exactly what I expect from Scotland, a decent performance in Spain and France and the Georgia game.
I'm confident we'll do it but think that Spain will ensure it by beating Norway.

A draw between them 2 keeps both alive unless we get a point against Georgia and we're capable of doing just that.
To take us through.
It's typical of Scotland that the likelihood of qualification ( unless we get something in Spain, can't see it, would love to though Scotland have been immense in this group or failure of Norway in beating Cyprus, can't see that either ) all hinges on an away game to Georgia , having beaten Norway and Spain.
Having been underdog for so long were probably 2nd favourite to qualify, would be a game changer for Scotland if we won the group 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Having never missed a tournament, world cup or euros when I was younger it's a bit surreal to be ' imagining' us qualify for a tournament , one with people at the game.
If memory serves me right Scotland once held a record with Brazil for the number of world cups we'd taken part in consecutively or in total, some idiot mentioned it decades ago and we've been absent ever since.

I've not been to a Scotland game for years now but still pay attention to the teams endeavours.
To think that back in 98 John Collins' equaliser against the world champions Brazil just before HT, a game we lost but couldve got a point from would be the last time we appeared at that level is unreal and shows the lack of grass roots investment from the SFA.
That was Brazil v Scotland opening a WC in France but we didn't kick on, regressed instead.
Maybe Bertie Vogts development plan is only now kicking in 🤷🏻‍♂️
