I thought it was definitely a penalty. A stupid high hand that brushes against the ball.
Now we listen to these gobshites telling us that this was a definite stonewall penalty that were the same ones that tied themselves in knots lecturing us that the multiple handballs by Goldson, Sands, Goldson, Goldson, etc - which were much more blatant - definitely were NOT penalties.
My problem is the straight red for denying a goalscoring opportunity. This wasn't punching the ball off the line. It was the merest glance on the ball that needed multiple slow motion views from lots of angles before determining it looked like there was the tiniest change of direction. But the change was so miniscule that it had no zero impact on the sevco player behind him, so how did that deny an obvious goal scoring opportunity? For me it is a penalty and booking.
And why is Lundstram not booked yet? And the already booked Goldson gets away with shoving an opponent running at full speed into the advertising board with no punishment.
