Time for the Rebel songs, post your favourites here

Excellent choices all. I'm particular to "Fields of Anthenry" and "Come Out You Black and Tans," though I have a story about seeing a drum and flute marching band playing what I thought was the Celtic tune "25th of May," learning later that the tune was actually "Sean South of Garryowen" (another favorite).

All of which to say, I'm embarrassed to admit, that some Irish rebel songs I learned first as Celtic songs before realizing their origins.

Anyway, while watching one of the games last season with the San Francisco CSC in Millbrae, the president of the club, an elderly Irishman, started singing this, and some of the older members joined in. I didn't know the song, but learned it later.
