VAR is not a shambles, it's a design

VAR is not a shambles, it's a design and when it says it takes the pressure off of referees, it does, it takes the pressure off the man on the park and transferres it to people who are not even at the ground and where fairness the not name of the game.
We should remember who these people are we should give them a hard time when they are on duty at a match. Why is there no real "in-line" photo of the incident?
We need proper management of the system.

It doesn't matter whether it's a ref's decision or VAR's decision, we are refereed on an entirely different basis. Those making the decisions are so biased that their eyes see what they want.

Even worse than the poor decisions is the amount of time used up for the VAR check. It disrupts the flow of the game which is a handicap to teams like Celtic who are all about the intensity. We might never stop but VAR checks are stopping us right, left and centre.

VAR is only as good as the people operating it. VAR in Scotland gives incompetent referees more opportunity to make ridiculously bad decisions. Unless we can get better referees then we should either bin VAR, or employ experienced VAR operators from down south or abroad to be our VAR referees and bring in consultants from elsewhere to train and educate our referees to a far higher standard.
We should also, as in England, ask all referees to declare which team they support(ed) and the games they are appointed to reflect this. This can remove the bias accusations at a stroke and let us concentrate on the inadequacies.
SFA also missed a trick, no surprise there (or maybe deliberate), by not saying setting up a weekly forum that publicly states why decisions, especially contentious ones, have been made in that week's games. We may not like some of the answers but it would at least show some transparency. Why won't they let the supporters know what the thinking is behind the decisions being made? What are they scared of?

This exactly what I tried to say in the match thread.

The double standards at play with VAR is now apparentā€¦..there are now numerous definitive examples of how VAR is being used to the benefit of the Huns and to the detriment of Celticā€¦..itā€™s now transparently obvious the VAR officials and those editing the VAR playback are all on message. The evidence is there.

As DILLIGAF has previously said on here ā€œthe fix is inā€ and sooner or later itā€™s going to cost us.

So what is there to do?

Is Celtic media going to unite and mount a collective campaign to demand that Celtic respond to the very real concerns of the Support and further demand transparency and accountability of the SFA and their VAR acolytes? I really hope so.

When good men (and women) do nothingā€¦..you know the restā€¦

They are scared of the fckn truthā€¦

i notice var didnt add on extra minutes when sevco had 1 nil lead v hearts. think even neilston questioning that.

weird how they get 7+ minutes when needing a goal and quick whistle blown when they dont need goal

and vice versa with celtic games

the 1 v 1 game v livingston game finished at 5pm with allegedly 7 minutes only added

im sure its a recurring theme eek in week out

and its not properly catalogued by Celtic stat teams that im aware of

Just another one of the many nefarious anomalies that is happeningā€¦..the evidence is there right enoughā€¦

A half arsed VAR is pointless did u see the state of that offside for Jotas goalšŸ˜± why no camera in both half's???
I posted this on one of the other (many) VAR threads. Its from the SFA site.
In the Q&A at the bottom they state...

"
How many cameras will there be?

A minimum of six cameras ā€“ two in the main stands, one on each of the 18-yard lines and one behind each goal. If there are any additional cameras at the match (e.g. Sky matches), the VAR will have access to the additional cameras"...

So there was absolutely no reason for them not to show the offside lines from the camera on the 18 yard line in Motherwells half last night. Instead they chose to show it from the camera on OUR 18 yard line.
Its bent as hell.

Ah that's just pish matešŸ¤¬ they intentionally released this image just to annoy us all then I think his head may be off the way he's leaning but if he is why not just fuckin show us all shower a bastards

All VAR has done is give the corrupt bastards another tool to use against us its like giving them an extra man on top of the extra men that they had already itā€™s getting like the old kiddies song One man went to mow a meadow, where things keep being added on and to add insult to injury Celtic pay the highest contribution toward it and as usual the ready made excuses are trotted out teething problems etc, hiding blatant cheating behind the veil of uselessness.

Only now the MIB on the field can blame his mate in the VAR room, during games, as to why it was checked and given offside, a penalty, or whatever...
It's designed to work exactly as intended, not to help the game be further enhanced, but to give their favourite KLUB the help they need to stay within reach of us, in the league run in
A fucking brass neck decision to have VAR , added to the game of football in Scotland
We never expected much, but the blatant and obvious decisions against us, are not even questioned by our club...until...maybe...now ?
Don't expect anything, you won't be disappointed

So, we then ask ourselves why didnā€™t they show a camera angle that would be definiteiveā€¦..that question has to be addressedā€¦
