I feel your pain mate, can't remember the last time I felt lt this low as a celtic supporter. Despise that man with a passion. But getting NFL in has at least managed to ease some of (not all) the worry about getting to 8. Also when you say the press got it right you have to remember that every vacancy that came up SMSM always put that shits name forward for it.

We may never know how things were with him and the board, but after the summer fiasco we can guess.

I’m not a fan of scapegoating, I think the board are also in the dock. I think the question should be, even though it ended badly, would those who now say they despise him, never have wanted him to come?

He wanted to go and if anybody does, then I say go. But I would never delude myself that I wish he hadn’t come. We are better for him being here. That’s what I will remember. With a bit of bottle shown by the board I believe he would still be here.

Let’s look forward and hope lessons have been learned about what we need to do to become a team in Europe teams don’t have to patronise us we are a hard draw.

Some people will have to get used to the fact that he will always be part of our history no matter what some of us think about him now. He made history in domestic football in Scotland, he also made a huge error in my opinion in the way he chose to leave us, I think it would have been easier to swallow if it had been a massive club had come in for him, but to skulk away in the manner he did after feeding us the emotional bullshit, has left a bad taste in the mouth.
After a couple of days in a wee state of shock and anger, all my thoughts are with NFL and the players, 2 potential banana skins and we've come through the tests well. I think we owe it to the team and manager to put BR into the History books with the asterisk beside his name stating both his perfect haul of domestic honours, and the shitty and underhand way he left us.
