Celtic v Dunfermline - Betfred Cup, All comments here

We made that a lot harder than it should have been. All that matters though is getting through to the next round.

That is our 9th competitive game so far this season, Shved has got subbed on once and scored in his 20 minute appearance as he looked lively and on fire. Since then - nothing! A goal scoring winger who looks amazing gets ignored yet again. Surely he was an obvious substitution in today's game? I can't understand continually leaving him out but playing Morgan (nothing against Morgan, but he has been hot & cold so far).

Morgan or Shved. That should be a no brainer

Amazing how you can go from such a high after flag day to feeling this odd deflated and kind of doom-laden foreboding when I think of the rest of the season. I know it's at least partly manufactured and irrational. If, for example, without putting blame and running over old ground, Scott Brown didn't put his hand out on Tuesday, none of us would be feeling low about stuff.

But, on the other hand, there's clearly problems within our squad that need to be drastically rectified. We are, in fairness, so used to completely dominating cup competitions over the past 3 years. Feels weird to struggle at home to Dunfermline at this stage.

In other bizarre news, Jordan Afolabi was at the game today. He's a 19-year-old winger, released this season from Southampton - seems Lenny really doesn't fancy Shved. He clearly thinks the extremely mediocre (but hopefully improving) Lewis Morgan is a better player, now we're potentially bringing in another winger. Unless Afolabi was just up watching the Betfred Cup second round ...

Wasn't at the game didn't watch it or listen to it but by reading all your comments it was pish

You don't throw your team under the bus
then expect a good performance

2 games into the season and the rots setting in already , what a shocking state of affairs we find ourselves in

can't see Lenny lasting out september
