But imo that's because we have no midfield for them to give passes to when defence have ball, McGregor charges forward always 40 yards from them.

forrest runs to his channel as does left winger and number 10 runs away from ball too.

So defenders look know they cant make those passes and look to sides and often its high ball to smallest guy on park they choose Taylor.

they may think coz they could make that pass its ok distance

But thats retarded since they must know Julien Simunovic and Ajer brown and Taylor cant pass accurately under press more than 25 yards

occasionally the pass will work

The defence we have aint great but expecting them to make accurate long low passes under press is madness

having 4 attackers making great runs is great if the guy on ball can hit those passes

But they cant under press and when the wonky pass goes to opps our midfield is too far forward to support the defence

its the shape and tactics that expose out defenders weaknesses

Better defenders might solve issue but I doubt it

Coz Real Madrid defence would struggle to make those passes with no out ball in midfield.

We effectively play 1 midfielder and 4 attacking midfielders today

And brown was off his game

So the support did not exist since calmat and Rogic were too far from the action area when our defence had ball
 
kennedy isn't the defensive coach he's first team coach , the defense is coached on defensive duties , tactics positions and everything else that goes along with that
but stupidity being a fkwit and panicing like big lassies is out of that remit

Everyone believing kennedy is a defensive coach is wrong he never was a defensive coach
 
Why change a winning formation?
Why play a centre half at right back when we have 3 right backs?
Why was Brown and Forrest playing when they obviously weren’t fit?

Simunovic, just why?

Better team in first half without being great but like the first leg missed too many chances. Poor in the second half. They had 3 shots on target all game, all scored and all from our defensive errors.
We got what we deserved.
