Beaches are shut here too..Everywhere is closing by the hour here...No Official decree as yet by the government with regard to businesses so far but they have closed schools, public gatherings etc down too..We closed our business yesterday as a precaution ..
The problem we have here and i guess in Spain and most other southern european countries that receive mass tourism is that our healthcare system can barely cope with its own nationals never mind hundreds of thousands of foreign nationals...the threat is very real and the sad thing is that the British Government are playing russian roulette with peoples lives just now

Its day one of lockdown here in basel as well and I would say it isn't making much difference. The city was only a bit quieter than usual and everywhere is still open.
