Celtic v Ferencvaros - Champions League 2nd Qualifier, Wednesday 26 August 7.45pm - all comments here

A fuckin monkey coulda picked a Celtic team to win there tonight.
I said it at the time he got the job and I'll say it again, Lennon hasn't a fuckin clue what he's at. He was found out at Bolton and at hibs. The only reason he's there is because lawells hand fits perfectly up his arse.
He should be fuckin chased down the road and take that fuckin gobshite Kennedy with him.
The keepers shite, jullien at times looks like a new born calf, Browns done, McGregor's a shite, Greg Taylor couldn't get past a defender on a motorbike.
Apart from that it wasn't too bad!
Absolutely spot on every thing in your post is correct, totally
Let's be honest it's fitba if you canne put the baw in the net,
you don't deserve win simple as
Unfortunately it keeps happening to us Tactics utter dross

Lennon will stay he's Lawwells man. Kennedy shouldn't be there at all. Being saying it since Strachan.
I'm not so sure, Ally, Lenny looks like a man at the end of his rope. That fire and fury he had in his first stint looks like it's gone and it doesn't look like he's feeling it anymore.

I think it might also highlight how significant big Johan, Alan Thomson and Garry Parker were too. I don't believe that his current staff have the presence or gumption to question Lenny's excesses.

Once again we lose out to inferior opponents because fthe men in charge put profit before everything else, play safe until we qualify then we’ll spend
, how’s that working out for us? I’d bet on Eddy being sold and few if any new signings but plenty of speculation and rumours to keep the masses happy. On the manager, I think we could all see the way the game was going , pity he couldn’t or wouldn’t admit changes were required long before he was forced to make them. It was criminal to start without a striker and I think his excuses are just that feeble don’t blame me excuses, but ultimately it is his fault he is incapable of making tactical changes unless it’s a reaction to going behind. I’m of the opinion that’s to progress he has to go and now this movie is too familiar it’s getting old.

No celtic TV anymore. We'll all be on T C M. 😅😅😅

Serious question.
Hav we ever won a competitive match against any decent opposition with Broony n Ntcham both startin?

Ntcham is never a defensiv midfielder (no even a consistnt attackin midfield) but he is playd by NFL in a role as if he can cover both!
Apart from being more consistent n givin 100% Calmac - ditto

all we hav is a slow as fuk old Broony who is gettin more frustrated n slow wiv every game.

right there alone iz a massiv n fucking obvious flaw but d3 clueless monkeys seem 2 B oblivious 2

2019 - 2020 NFL's team picks n tactics r - always liable 2 concede a goal or 2.
If we don't score early n mor dan once b4 halftime its panic time.

n dat reality is even showin wen we r playin again semi pro teams in our own comparatively low quality league.

i'm not going to write about this until I have slept on it but the first goal is a shocker.
Broony will get the blame but when Taylor goes to the ball Brown is left with the player on the ball and a man ready take a pass. Ajer needed to come across and take Broony's man and let the capatain engage the man on the outside. Basic positioning for a centre half if the full back is drawn out. I do like Ajer but that as awful how slow he reacted.
After that i thought we played well. Their formation caught us out but after 20 mins we were back in control and almost (nearly) started pressing in unison.
The goal was the eventual culmination of a lot of good play.
It was a fine equaliser and i thought Moi's 'goal' looked onside but I'd need to see it again. The last man on the top left appeared late getting out but I'm not certain. Had that gone in we'd surely have kicked on.
The second goal was so poor it beggared belief. One punt and Elhamed felt he could usher him wide. He had 2, maybe 3 bites at the player and tried to get a wee toe on it to put him off. I do get what he was trying and he was a bit unlucky but I just want him to try first time and if not tangle, fall in a heap with his man and take a booking with a 'c'mon ref that was just a coming together'.
The striker issue didn't bother me too much. I though Christie did OK and we created chances. What worries me is Lenny has a chance to decide Klimala has worked his nuts off to force his way in, he gets an opportunity by luck rather than design.

The stars are aligned, you chuck him in, you give him 55/60 mins on such chances to shine moments can happen in football and players careers. Instead we deny him a chance he has earned and send him bereft of confidence back to wondering why he ever bothered working his balls off in the first place. I don't get that from a manager who doesn't play guys he thinks don't out the effort in, to then not play a guy who has put nothing BUT effort in- that's a big call.
In fact if you are reading WC, just cut and paste this, it's basically my thoughts for tomorrow anyway  - I've been girning about our play without the ball since Hamilton at home. This has been in the post. Fuck it- Bed
Well said Niall. Much better than I've managed to get across. Lenny's old pals act where he is sticking by his favourites will only lead to cliques and divisions in the dressing room. How must Klimala feel tonight? What message does it send out to him and other fringe players?

And if they weren't match fit - why the hell not give them some decent game time last week when we were cruising against part timers? Instead of giving them a few minutes at the end and only using 3 out of the 5 subs you are allowed.

We have some really good players but constantly play them out of position to shoe-horn them in. It just never works out for us when we stupidly try this trick in big games, yet sure as hell you KNOW we will pull this same stunt yet again in another couple of important matches before the end of the year.

You should try to give yourself the best chance possible for a favourable outcome - yet again we deliberately set out to make it unnecessarily difficult for ourselves.

I don't think we need hindsight either as it was obvious beforehand that this was the wrong gameplan. Even then, there was ample opportunity to correct it but he never even gave it a go! That is not on.

This is Lennon's biggest fault in a nutshell!

He can't admit he bollocksed up the starting line up and it's almost like he'd rather risk us going out than let people see he fucked up.

It's a gamblers "loss chasing" mindset and it's not one that we need anywhere near our fuckin changing room this season!
