CELTIC vs. Red Bull Salzburg - All comments here

Mental.

Had big Gordon as my MOTM (for obvious reasons) right up until his howler (and what a fuckin howler it was!). Thought we were looking good for the equaliser up to this point. Hadn't even given the other game in the group a moment's thought since our commentary mentioned Liepzieg having taken the lead earlier (always thought the result was inevitable in the German's favour). Gutted to go down 0-2.
And then........
Then!
The roar went up!
Fuck me! Rosenborg have scored?
YESSSSS!!!!

Like I said, pure fucking mental.

PS Big Gordon is still my MOTM ??
?

Just heard the Boss hope Ryan’s injury isn’t as bad as it looked. But all in we were poor gave away the ball too much. Too many not on the ball, but slightly better wi Broony but only just, but looking forward to the draw then the transfer window. NEED Quality Peter get the cheque book oot the Shortbread tin and spend.

I think it showed clearly tonight that the debate about Broony - does he go or stay - is definitely premature. We should have played him from the start ( hindsight , eh ? ) as we were too timid in midfield against an admittedly really good team .
Good post,fair point.

Can't quite believe what's just happened, from the utter horror of watching Craig Gordon all but kill off our Europa League hopes with one of the most spectacular blunders I've ever seen on a football pitch to the utter jubilation when hearing of Rosenborg saving our arses by holding out for a draw in Germany! Football really is a ridiculous game at times!

Oh and well done to the brainless prick who threw the coin, it's fucking bellends like you who gift our detractors the ammunition to drag our club's name through the mud.

I see the press are already giving Gordon a hard time for his error . Personally I thought he kept us in the game , especially first half . He was trying to keep the pace of the game up when he threw out the ball but give the forward credit , he anticipated well .
But for Gordon the game would have been lost already by halftime . No criticism from me - and not just because we are through - there were many others on the park tonight who will escape criticism but whose performances were far worse than the goalie's.
