Far happier with that performance. Sloppy goals to concede but at least we played much better. Let's hope Lenny has learnt some lessons and picks the right side to go on and do the business on Sunday.

I can't believe Ntcham finished the match though. Turnbull joined us as a player on fire and has hardly kicked a ball for us while we toil badly with the midfielders we keep on the pitch!

I know. Never understood why. I said from the start that I didn't think we had the players for it..

It seemed to work with players like Ayer/Bitton either side of Jullian (Duffy seems to have took his place in the team) but not with the midfield we currently deploy. We need forward thinking players either side of Brown, not Ntcham. Rogic/Christie and McGregor work, but it needs to be a solid 11 each week, not constantly shuffling the pack.


That said though. It'll take time to get that going again - time we don't have. What happened tonight worked off the bat. The players will take a lot of confidence from that tonight. Lets build on it, rather than looking back to what worked in the 2nd half of last season.
